Chapman Tucson has joined  Pima Community College to help students that are pursuing an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Automotive Technology. We understand that being a college student can be expensive and difficult at times which is why we will be awarding one student from the Automotive Technology program at Pima with a $750 per-semester scholarship. Students must hurry since the deadline to apply is on August 1!

However, applicants must meet certain requirements in order to qualify for the Chapman Automotive Scholarship. Students need to have a “B” or better GPA, demonstrate team leadership ability, community service, scholastic achievement, and participation in extracurricular school activities. Also, students must be U.S. citizens and hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

There is an online form for the students to apply that also requires them to attach a valid transcript that reflects their high school graduation and GPA or GED equivalency. Students must also attach proof of enrollment at Pima Community College. After careful consideration, we will choose one recipient for the Chapman Automotive Scholarship and notify them on August 15, 2014. The non-winning applicants will not receive individual notification.

You can find the online application here.
